
Welcome to our 9th annual edition of this popular walk! Nothing could cap off a wonderful “on the cusp of winter” stroll along this spectacular trail better than a cup of hot coffee and a thick wedge of Crimson Pie swimming in a pool of thick ginger crème anglaise! You can do it! Venture out into a cold December morning in search of our native owls with expert Fran Zygmont. We’ll be in search of Barred Owls, Screech Owls, Saw-Whet Owls, and Great Horned Owls. Before you wrap the presents, before you scurry out to finish up your last minute holiday “to do” list, why not spend an hour in nature, drinking outlandishly good hot chocolate and eating a tasty homemade scone at the pinnacle of glorious Apple Hill? Nature’s Nursery Series
Join us on the first Thursday of each month from January-April for an hour-long program designed just for your young nature lovers. Every session will include a story, an encounter with a live animal, and an activity or craft. Bring your kids out to White Memorial for a jam-packed hour of hands-on learning.
