Join Naturalist Erin Josefson as she leads you along the Little Pond Trail in search of spring arrivals! Things pick up in April. All those birds that fled Connecticut for the winter start returning in force! You could have a wonderful flood of birds on your hands! The first wave of warblers should be arriving as well as the popular Wood Duck. Listen for spring peepers and leopard frogs. Perhaps you will spot a beaver or even a bobcat! The hike is approximately 3.5 miles long. 10:00 a.m., Meet in front of the A. B. Ceder Room. FREE… Donations will be accepted to help defray the Conservation Center’s programming expenses.
