Contemplative Yoga (Previously Yoga in The Garden) is a gentle all-level yoga class provided online through Zoom. The class meets on Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:30. This class cycles through each chakra, focusing on anatomy and energetic benefits, combining vinyasa, yin, and restorative yoga forms. Students can attend the classes in any sequence. Poetry, music, and mudra assist the student in focusing on class intention. This class encourages stress reduction and efficient breathing, while building strength, flexibility, and balance. No registration is required. Class is $10, paid on Venmo to @Judith-Ehrman-Shapiro. Please leave a note which says “White Memorial”, and $1 will to be donated to WMCC for each class. Judith Ehrman-Shapiro, MA, BC-DMT, NCC, RYT is a Board-Certified movement therapist, nationally certified counselor, and a registered yoga teacher. She operates the Evolving Center, a private practice, in Winsted. Judith has been running Yoga in The Garden at White Memorial since 2015!
