Learn ‘Em and Log ‘Em!

Kids, have you ever wanted to use the latest AI technology to get to know the wildlife all around you? This program will do that and more! You’ll go out “in the field” and use apps such as Merlin Bird ID and I-Naturalist to identify wildlife. Then, you can participate in citizen science by submitting your observations. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. Visit whitememorialcc.org or call 860-567-0857. Kids with cell phones should bring them, but it is not required for participation. We’ll ask that a couple free citizen science apps be downloaded ahead of time. Parents are welcome to stay and participate in data collection if they choose. Meet in the A.B. Ceder Room. Please inquire about financial aid as needed.
