Cicadas: Nature’s Introverted Extroverts with Gerri Griswold
September 5 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Saturday, September 5, 2026
You never think about them, but they are always underfoot! There are thousands of species of cicadas on our planet but perhaps you dismiss them as being visually unsavory, maybe a little creepy, loud, destructive, dangerous, or maybe you don’t think of them at all! The fact of the matter is that there is so much to love about Nature’s most introverted extrovert! Spend a little time with Gerri Griswold as she gives you myriad reasons why cicadas should be celebrated! We’ll step outside after the program and listen for the lullaby of the cicada!
2:00 p.m., A. B. Ceder Room, Members: $5.00 Non Members: $10.00,
