June 15 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Saturday, June 15, 2024
There are some animals, like the passenger pigeon, that we have lost for good, and others that remain on the brink of extinction. Join us as we explore these extinct and endangered animals. You will even get to meet a couple of live animals that are listed as “Species of Special Concern” or “Threatened” by CT DEEP. This interactive, family-friendly program will end by exploring ways that you can take action to help endangered animals in your own backyard. 2:00 p.m., Meet in the A.B. Ceder Room. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited! Please register here: Extinct & Endangered Registration Members: FREE, Non-Members: $5/person.
