Make your own festive wreath for the holiday season! Using local greens, cones, berries, birch bark and ribbon, you will create your own beautiful wreath. Workshop instructor Jean Bronson will teach you to complete a wreath in an afternoon. No prior wreath making experience is necessary. Wear old clothes, pine pitch is hard to remove from clothing! Join your White Memorial friends for this creative and fun activity!
Jean has been making wreaths for over 30 years, and teaching wreath making workshops for 10 years. She worked for 27 years at Great Mountain Forest as Communications, Development and Program Coordinator. Planning and facilitating programs became her passion, and Jean was able to teach some of her own programs for children and adults at the forest. After the onset of COVID, Jean left her job to take care of her granddaughter. Throughout the seasons, Jean gardens, makes wreaths and makes maple syrup along with her husband, forester Jody Bronson. Jean still teaches occasional programs for children and adults. She is looking forward to meeting all who would like to make wreaths!
