The Wild Center’s https://www.wildcenter.org/ biologist Nicole Morin and Norris the Woodchuck team up to discover the unique qualities of this common backyard animal and explore how they are responding to human-driven change. The Eastern Marmot (Marmota monax) are widespread in the Northeast, and familiar to many human communities. While well known marmots like Punxsutawney Phil keep us guessing, Norris and Nicole are here to share the science behind groundhog behavior. 2:00 p.m., ZOOM, Members: FREE, Non-Members: $10.00, Pre-registration and pre-payment are required. Call 860-567-0857 or register online:https://white-memorial-conservation-center.square.site/product/what-s-up-with-woodchucks-digging-deeper-to-uncover-secrets-of-the-groundhog-with-nicole-morin-from-the-wild-center-/1128?cs=true&cst=popular A link to the program will be sent to you upon completion of your registration.
