Wheeler Hill (Loop) Trail

The Wheeler Hill Trail (white blazes) is a 0.6 mile loop located behind the Campground Store on North Shore Road. It takes you through hemlocks, spruce and pole timber, culminating at an observation platform with a view of Bantam Lake through the trees. As you descend back to the parking area, you will pass through a non-native invasive Japanese Barberry control study site, which was implemented by the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station.
